This "time only" 7001 is a rarely seen model with pounds of character and military appeal. The dial, which was once white, has developed an almost pearl like iridescence in patina, and shows a few light wear marks. With no date aperture, it offers an extremely clean aesthetic that's just heightened by the stenciled luminous Arabic numbers around the dial. They too have a aged beautifully into an even and flat khaki. The polished hands offer great contrast, and are easy to read at a glance. The case and lugs are one in the same with clean continuous lines on either side of the thin beveled bezel. Paired with a dark brown distressed leather, this beauty from May of 1970 is an affordable head turner that's sure to get plenty of attention.
