Ca. 1950’s Seiko 13051 “S” with Sub Dial Seconds (Hand Wind)

If something a little different is what you’re looking for, this early 1950’s three hander has tons of character and is perfect for those looking for something on the smaller side. At a diameter of 32mm, the classically designed case is unobtrusive and light weight. The dial has aged heavily, but the result is has created an interesting and eye-catching patina. The applied markers are easy to spot and offer great legibility, and a small seconds above the 6 o’clock marker is a rarely seen attribute from this time period. At center is the “S” logo that appeared on many similar

Seiko models from this era. It’s all original aside from a replacement crystal and is keeping quite reliable time. We’ve paired it with an olive green NATO that plays nicely against the metallic colors in the dial, and offers a comfortable and casual finish.
